CULTURAL-CONCEPTUAL INTERPRETATION OF FAMILY VALUES IN KHOREZM FOLK ART

This article analyzes the expression of family values in Khorezm folk art from ethnographic and cultural-anthropological perspectives. In particular, the study examines how ideas of family, marriage, respect for parents, generational continuity, and marital loyalty are artistically represented in the traditions of epic performance (bakhshi), khalfa performance, maqom music, folk songs, and ritual dances. The findings show that Khorezm folk art functions not only as an aesthetic phenomenon but also as a social institution that transmits moral and cultural values from generation to generation.
