This article analyzes the socio-economic and cultural development processes of the ancient Khorezm oasis during the antique period. It examines the formation of the Khorezm civilization, the irrigation-based agricultural system, the development of crafts and trade relations, as well as the system of centralized state governance. The study analyzes historical stages from the archaic period to the 4th–7th centuries based on archaeological, written, and scholarly sources.
