Abstract

This article provides a scientific discussion of the material and technical condition of the healthcare sector in the Fergana Valley during the stages of the transition period. In particular, it analyzes on a scientific basis the state of public health protection during the years of Soviet rule, the problems and shortcomings of the material and technical base of the healthcare system, as well as issues related to the professional qualifications of physicians working in this field.
