This article analyzes the strategic importance of the population and agricultural census planned to be conducted in the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-February 2026 for the development of public administration. The main objective of the research is to study the role of census processes in socio-economic planning, targeted resource allocation, and regional development. The article examines the historical experience of population censuses and the significance of modern digital technologies (GIS, online platforms) in this process. As a result, scientific insights are provided on the importance of census data in shaping state policy, ensuring food security, and increasing investment attractiveness.
